Wish list

I am a Geek L33t haxzz0r Gawd. ..No but I am enjoying playing with an unlimited budget and building a PC I can craft with my hands and some luck (and a firm yet gentle push of the cpu into the mobo -this time) . I say my current killer machine is about 65% of this if we're including the AWEsome LCD display (which I have naught but an emachine flat CRT (.25 pitch) . I have not yet installed my HP Lightscribe burner but I HAVE it , and I can only go to the 2 GIG ram neighborhood because I already have two of three slots filled with 512's(no the l33t variety either). But I have a Athlon 64 3400 CPU on a ASUS silcon RAID 0 on x2 80gig WD 7200 SATA drives plus another 80gig WD IDE as a bitch drive for tossing trash into. Anyway I went to my favorite pc site www.newegg.com and built my wishlist PC. I think I thought of everything but what I can find anywhere is these block adapters to plug in the usb wires into that I can then plug in as one unit into the mobo. Same goes for the fr...

Dream home

I didn't win the HGTV dream home in Tyler Texas. Some poor drone from flyover country who'd been out of work on disability won the home. I guess it's for the better (for that f_ck) . The contest was too long and allowed me to enter like 30 times and even get other people to enter. I mean c'mon a 1.5 million dollar prize (1 million in home .25 mill in furnishings and GMC Envoy Denali, and .25 mill in cash) can't beat that. I had plans to sell the home to my parents (Dad is already retired, mom is close enough) at a loss so I could take the tax hit on the prize value and come out with like 600,000 in cash to add to my Kingdom and Castle in NJ. Plus I'd be able to visit the home and maybe inherit it after they pass on . I just don't know how that Chicago Schlub is going to be able to afford like 38% taxes on 1.5 million. He didn't win a house stuff and a quarter million in cash he won a death struggle with the 570,000 mortage that he can put a nice downpa...

Root Canal

I've been putting this off trying to pull off the double insurance HMO and PPO thing. It figures the absecess goes and pops about a week or two before the HMO choice for dentist is set up. Aside for the salty taste of blood that started just before the first commercial break in the show 24, it's been fine. I keep waiting for the pain. I'm told the procedure is like getting a cavity filled but takes a lot longer. If I was all Goth I would relish the experience of this constant taste of blood in my mouth. It tastes like murder. I bet my breath REALLY stinks in the morning now. I've been using this special mouthwash no alcohol based and full of enzymes, really good stuff called 'Biotien' or some brand name like that. I'm hoping this root canal and cap thing dosen't cost too much or get to ugly
